The RS :X have been the last back to shore on Friday after racing three races. The Polish team has performed in the strong breeze, gaining valuable places to the overall regatta ranking.
Prezmek Miarczynski (POL) collected two bullets and a second to steal top place in the overall rankings from Nimrod Mashiah (ISR). Team mate Piotr Myszka gets to third position, sailing consistently since the start of the event in top five places.

Delta Lloyd regatta defending champion, Dorian van Rijsselberge (NED) keeps his fourth position. The Dutch who also enjoyed the breeze with second and first placings, broke the trapeze harness hook before the start of the second race and was forced to retire.

Blanca Manchon (ESP) conserves her lead in the women division four points from Zofia Keplacka (POL). The top two have increased their lead over the rest of the fleet.
Two last races are scheduled Saturday before the Medal race on Sunday.

Results have changed overnight in the Star class. Andy Horton and James Lyne gain two places and replace Croatians Marin Lovrovic and Sinisa Mikulicic in second position overall. Eight boats were penalised for sailing back to close to the 49er course and collected penalty points. While the Norwegians Melleby and Pedersen conserve a ten point lead, only three points separate the next three boats.
